HIV Testing Day

Celebrated on June 27th of each year, this observance encourages HIV testing to help stop the spread of HIV. Everyone age 13 to 64 should get tested for HIV, at least once.

For those with a positive test result, antiretroviral therapy (ART) can be started right away, to stay healthy. For those with a negative test result, there is education about HIV prevention options like pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), condoms and clean needles.
